> whoami

I never thought I'd be a developer. That was for my smart guy friends.

Fortunately Jesse came into my life and changed all that.

He encouraged me to pursue programming. He'd debug my code as I cried alongide him, then he'd teach some more.

Now I spend my time organizing Thunder Plains Conference, helping with okcjs (the Oklahoma City JavaScript group) and teaching women to code at Nerdy Girls Code Club.

Developer

I'm a full stack JavaScript developer and consultant.

Prior positions involved Angular at startups
and Java, Ext.js, jQuery, JS for AEM+CQ5 CMS.

Community

I co-founded and serve as secretary for the Techlahoma Foundation,
a tech-focused 501(c)3 organization.

Advancing Oklahoma's grassroots technology community is our non-profit's mission.

Techlahoma community work includes mentoring user groups,
learning from community leaders, & volunteering at conferences in Oklahoma.

My pride & joy is community work, like organizing Thunder Plains,
teaching at Nerdy Girls Code Club & helping with okcjs.

Fun

I love making silly & peaceful video games.

My current projects are comprised of Ionic & Angular.js.

I'm also speaking at conferences and interviewing on podcasts. Fun stuff!!
